2001 Unwooded Chardonnay

The main characteristic of this wine is its intensive fruit characters. Many unwooded chardonnays lack character so I have employed winemaking techniques that concentrate on retention of varietal chardonnay characters. Passionfruit is somewhat surprisingly the predominant fruit flavours. The relatively high alcohol levels have produced sweet syrupy flavours that linger on the palate without cloying due to the perfect acid balance which is characteristic of the Adelaide Hills.
