2005 Pinot Gris
This wine is made in a style with intermediate palate weight between the more savoury Sauvignon Blanc and the richer fuller bodied Chardonnay. The wine has excellent cleansing acidity balancing the subtle fruit flavours of apples and pears, while retaining pleasant mouth feel. The intense fruit flavours give a sense of sweetness that compliments many styles of dish. This latest release follows the style and tradition of the 2004 Vintage that was highly acclaimed by Jancis Robinson and awarded 4½ stars by James Halliday.
