2002 Cabernet Franc

This wine won a Gold Medal and Top of its Class in the Adelaide Hills Wine Show.

Last year a Cabernet Franc was chosen as the Best Red Wine at the Adelaide Hills Wine Show. This year the Leabrook Estate Cabernet Franc was beaten by a whisker for the same title. We are very pleased with this beautiful rich, mouth filling fruit driven wine, not overpowered by oak and having mid palate fullness, a characteristic of the variety, and firm, fine tannins balancing the rich smoothness evident at this very early stage of its life.
